PERCENTAGE:
percentage is defined as sum of observations by maximum sum of observations  multiplied by 100

 when comes to competitive exams percentages can be dealt very easily by split and merge method by
 observing some of the predefined percentages such as
                          10%=1/10
                          100%=1
                           50%=1/2
                           25%=1/4
                           121/2%=1/8
model problems:
1.25% of 200 is
sol:100%=200

50%=100

25%=50

2.150%of 15+75% of 75 is

sol:150 can be splitted as (100+50)

so 100% of 15 is 15

and 50% of 15 is 71/2

75% can be splitted as (50+25)

so first finding 50% of 75 is 37.5

again 25% of 75 is 18.75

so adding all these values78.75
