Hello everyone I am Akhilesh Rawat, a B.Sc. graduate from Dehradun. Today I would like to share my IBPS PO CWE 5 preparation technique.I started my preparation from July 2015 keeping IBPS PO CWE5 as my only target. I didn’t appear for IBPS RRB or any IBPS clerical paper.I made a time schedule for preparation at home in which I devoted
2 hours = Newspaper reading (8-10 am)
2 hours= Math (10:30-12:30 pm)
1:30 hours for reasoning (1-2:30 pm)
1 hour (7-8) to revise daily GK quiz and monthly GK digest.
1 hour (8-9) for my English grammar on weekdays and on weekends. I prepared my computer notes from Arihant computer book, also solved computer quizzes on internet.
I also did running to maintain my physical fitness and improved concentration. Besides this I also developed reading habit for novels from 10-11.
For prelims I made strategy of 22-24-14 min for reasoning quant and English. My prelims score was 59.75 and my attempts were 64.
From October 2015 I started solving mock tests. Mock test were very lucid and difficulty level matched up to mains level. I also referred other mocks to get more practice. Morning time was utilized in mocks. And evening time I utilized in revising GK and computer.
Mains strategy:
Time allocation
Gk + computer = 12 minutes
English = 28 minutes
Reasoning= 40 minutes
Quant= 40 minutes
And by this sequence I attempted all sections.
Mathematics should be attempted at last as per my opinion as Maths needs calm and relaxed mind. So once you finish all sections you are likely to prevent silly mistakes and make hurry thus leading you to a handsome score in mains.
I was confident for not only qualifying but also with a good score.
So I started preparing interview notes from November 2015. Being a science graduate it was an ABC journey for me to prepare banking concepts. I prepared notes and revised the moment I noted and I did mirror practice and my friends took my mock interviews.
My mains score + interview helped me to secure Canara bank my first preference.
A suggestion I would like to give to all aspirants is don’t worry at all when u get stuck in any questions as all question carry same marks. So quickly move to next.
I would like to thank all the other teachers, my parents, didi and friends who made me capable to clear exam with such an ease. Thanks a lot to all of you for your invaluable guidance.
Analysis: You can see that Mr. Akhilesh Rawat has prepared with full dedication and commitment. He had a clear strategy and plan in his mind for the preparation. He studied for almost 7-8 hours on a daily basis and paid attention towards all sections. He also planned well for the time management for each section. Overall it was a very good attempt and success. I wish Mr. Rawat all success in his career. If you also have a success story to share you can send the same to us.
